Project grants

WHAT?

With the 'Talent Development Fund', the city of Antwerp supports exceptional art projects in which the artistic talent development of amateur artists is central.

FOR WHO OR WHAT

You can request support if:

• individual artist or collective;

• association for amateur arts that is a non-profit organization or de facto association;

• professional organization or artist (who participates in your project must be an amateur artist);

• school that organizes the project outside normal school activities.

​ You can submit an application if the project is not part of the daily operation of your association or yours as an artist, the project is aimed at the amateur artist and meets the mandatory criteria (see regulations below).

The support amounts to a maximum of 7,000 euros.

WHEN?

The support request must be submitted no later than:

• March 1

• 1 June

• 1st of September

• December 1st

The next deadline for applying for a project grant is September 1, 2021.

HOW?

Applications will be made via the association database from 1 January 2021.

For this you need an account that you can request no later than 1 week before the submission deadline. Your account request will be processed the next working day.

JURY?

The dates of the jury moments that are now fixed in 2021 are:

• Wednesday 17 March

• Tuesday 15 June

• Thursday September 16

• Tuesday 14 December

These support regulations come into effect on January 1, 2021 and were approved at the city council meeting on December 14, 2020.
